Course Description

General information: This course is a classroom, video-based, and instructor-led course that teaches healthcare professionals American Heart Association Basic Life Support skills. This course is designed for healthcare professionals who need to learn how to provide CPR and other lifesaving skills in various in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This course includes adult, child, infant CPR/AED, two-rescuer scenarios, the use of bag-valve masks, foreign-body airway obstruction, automated external defibrillation, special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. • The total length of this course is about 3.5 hours. • Students receive an AHA certification card valid for two years • BLS Cost $ 100 Audience: Individuals such as, or training to become, RNs, CNAs, PAs, Dentists, Physicians, Hematologists, Pharmacists, Lifeguards, EMTs, Paramedics, PTs, OTs, and other allied healthcare providers are likely required to be certified in BLS.
